Special Procedures Technologist Job in Roanoke, VA

You will work as a Special Procedures Technologist in the Interventional Radiology department at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. This is a 91-day travel position at $3,251 per week.

Schedule & Hours

• 4x10 hour shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Weekend coverage may be required
• One holiday per 13-week contract, rotating with staff
• Facility may call off up to 1 shift per 2 weeks
• All requested time off must be submitted with your application

Role & Responsibilities

You will support interventional radiology and cardiology procedures in an inpatient and outpatient IR department. The facility operates 4 angiography suites (two single-plane and two biplane), 1 dedicated CT scanner, and 1 multipurpose fluoroscopy suite for pain management procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional degree
• ARRT registration with either CV (Cardiovascular) or VI (Vascular-Interventional) certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a technologist
• Documented experience in neuro and peripheral interventions
• Epic charting experience required
• Virginia state license preferred; any active state license in hand or pending is accepted

You will be part of a team delivering diagnostic and interventional services across multiple suite types. Your expertise in neuro and peripheral procedures will be essential to the department's operations.
