Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Five 8-hour shifts per week from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 1-2 call shifts per week required
• 1 call weekend per month required
• Call coverage staffed 24/7, 365 days including holidays that fall within the contract timeline
• Call rotation based on staffing levels
• Longer assignments available through 01/02/2027
• Neuroradiology department performing interventional neuroradiology procedures, Myelograms, Lumbar Punctures, Arthrograms, and Aspirations
• Serves as a Stroke Center
• Treats patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Operates within a 3-room unit
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, ARRT Advanced Certification, Virginia license
• Virginia license required; pending license accepted provided candidate holds licensure in another state
• 50-mile radius rule applies
• Required skills include: Angioplasty, Cardiac Stent Placement, Carotid Stenting, Catheter/Drain Exchange, Chest Tube Placement, Cystoscopy, Embolization, ERCP, Gastrostomy Tube Placement, IVC Filter Placement, Internal/External Biliary Drainage, Liver Biopsy, Mesenteric Angiogram, Nephrostomy, PACS, Paracentesis, Percutaneous Stone Extraction, Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangiogram, PTCA, Radioembolization, Renal Artery Stent Placement, Siemens, Stent Placement, Thoracentesis, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Ureteral Stent Placement, Outpatient/OR/C-Arm/Nephogram
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation
• Travelers must float within their scope of practice as needed
