PCU RN Night Shift Job in Newport, VT

North Country Hospital is seeking an RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 nights with every other weekend rotation
• Weekly pay: $2,479
• Facility: North Country Hospital, Newport, VT

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the PCU
• Work independently to manage your patient assignment
• Perform charge nurse duties as assigned
• Float to other units including the Emergency Department (ED) and Maternal/Child Health (MCH) as operational needs require
• Attend department quarterly education sessions

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Ability to work independently and take on charge responsibilities
• Flexibility to float to other clinical areas
• Personal transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transportation in the Newport area
