RN - Trauma ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No on-call requirements
• Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift per 4-week schedule period
• May be required to float to other areas of the organization up to competency level
• Low census call-offs of up to 48 hours per 13-week contract may occur as full or partial shifts
• Provide multidisciplinary care to trauma and surgical patient populations in a 27-bed Beacon Designation ICU
• Care for patients with a wide range of traumatic injuries including spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, extremity fractures, and solid organ injuries
• Care for surgical patients including craniotomies, craniectomies, and multiple bowel surgeries
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families
• Minimum 2 years of Trauma ICU experience required
• CCRN strongly preferred but not required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (APEX)
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
