ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Must have experience with management of dysrhythmias, central line care/management, IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilated patients, and triage
• Must be proficient in Epic charting system; Pyxis also used on unit
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Every other weekend required unless specified otherwise
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice and possibly to sister campus
• No on-call requirements
• Holiday coverage expected - if one or two major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work all applicable holidays; if three major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work two of them
• RN will be expected to care for ER holds
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
