ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM
• 36 hours per week required
• Every other weekend required
• 2+ years of recent ED experience required
• Pediatric ED experience highly preferred
• IV skills required
• Georgia or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS
• TNCC certification is a strong plus
• Epic EMR experience required
• Unit has 36 beds with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Experience with ventilators (Hamilton T1) preferred
• Common patient diagnoses include sickle cell pain/fever, asthma, behavioral health, DKA, AGE, and fever in pediatric patients
• Experience with insulin and sedation drips, resuscitation medications, and all medications except chemotherapy required
• May be required to float to other campuses as needed
