ED RN Job in Albany, GA

Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Albany, Georgia. This is a 119-day travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with every other weekend and every other holiday requirements. Your weekly pay is $2,182. You will care for patients across the age spectrum, from pediatrics to geriatrics, with an approximate patient ratio of 1 to 4.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage 180–200 patient visits per day in an acute care setting
• Perform lab draws and IV starts independently
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as available
• Utilize MEDITECH 6.15 charting system
• Collaborate with nurse aides, paramedics, security, and patient sitters

Facility Support

You will have access to central monitoring technology, 24/7 respiratory therapy support, and 24/7 pharmacy support with in-department coverage 11 hours per day. You must wear Caribbean Blue scrubs and are expected to complete a two-shift floor-specific orientation during your first week.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of emergency nursing experience
• At least 1 prior travel assignment
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• TNCC, CPI, NIHSS or ASLS certification
• MEDITECH 6.15 experience required
