Emergency Department RN Job in Statesboro, GA

East Georgia Regional Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for the Emergency Department on night shift. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning November 16, 2026.

Position Details:

• Shift: 3x12 nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Unit: 29 beds plus 8 hallway beds
• Patient ratio: 1:4
• No on-call required
• No floating required
• Scrub color: Navy
• EMR system: Cerner (experience preferred)
• Weekly pay: $2,065

Scheduling:

• 48-hour weekly guarantees are not available
• Blocked scheduling will be attempted to keep days as close together as possible while meeting weekend requirements, but cannot be guaranteed
• One major and one minor holiday may be required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience
• At least 2 previously completed travel assignments
• Current ACLS and BLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• ESI Level 5 training
• TNCC certification preferred

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for safe delivery of care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
