ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday requirement
• 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Must have 5+ years of nursing experience and at least 1 travel assignment
• MEDITECH experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ASLS or NIHSS, CPI
• Work within 75-mile radius rule - driver's license address must be provided
• Caribbean Blue scrubs required
• Handle approximately 180-200 patient visits per day
• Care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics including trauma cases
• Work with 6-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psych
• Nurses perform their own lab draws and IV starts
• 2-shift floor-specific orientation required
• Must complete ORT during first week
• Auto lunch deductions apply
• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks
• Support available from 5-6 nurse aides/paramedics per shift
• 24/7 respiratory therapist and pharmacy support
