ED RN Job in Albany, GA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. This is a 119-day travel assignment beginning September 14, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (1:00 PM to 1:00 AM)
• Every other weekend and every other holiday requirement
• Weekly pay: $2,197

Role Details

You'll care for patients across all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics, including trauma cases. The ED handles approximately 180–200 patient visits daily with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. You'll perform your own lab draws and IV starts, work with a 6-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psychiatric nurses, and collaborate with 5–6 nurse aides and paramedics per shift. Respiratory therapy and pharmacy support are available 24/7.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Current RN license
• 5+ years of nursing experience
• At least 1 prior travel assignment
• MEDITECH experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ASLS or NIHSS, CPI
• Valid driver's license with address within 75-mile radius of facility

Onboarding and Policies

• 2-shift floor-specific orientation required
• ORT (Orientation) must be completed during your first week
• Caribbean Blue scrubs required
• Auto lunch deductions apply
• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks
