Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Peds Adult

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts available on either day shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) or night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Assignments are blocked by week - nurses work either days or nights for the entire week and do not alternate shifts within the same week
• Primarily adult Med/Surg patients with occasional pediatric patients; this is not a dedicated pediatric unit and pediatric-only RNs will not be considered
• Opportunity to serve as Charge RN when needed
• May be asked to act as a Preceptor
• Broad scope of practice including medical, surgical, observation, swing bed, outpatient, and occasional pediatric care
• Coordinate and deliver patient care using the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
• Address physiological, psychosocial, spiritual, and developmental needs of patients across the lifespan
• Collaborate with providers, nursing leadership, and support staff to ensure safe and high-quality care
• Minimum of 3 years of recent acute care RN experience required
• Charge RN experience preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• Current Vermont RN license or Compact Multi-State RN License required
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Personal vehicle required for the duration of this assignment as public transportation is not available in the area
