Med Surg RN Job in Bennington, VT

You will work as an RN in Med/Surg at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, VT. This is a night shift position on a 3x12 schedule, with weekly pay of $2,312.64. The assignment runs for 89 days, beginning October 26, 2026.

You will rotate across two Med/Surg units: East and West. Both units are equipped with telemetry capabilities to support patient monitoring and care delivery.

East Unit

• Hallway-based layout with 2 nursing stations
• 20 beds with private rooms

West Unit

• Located adjacent to the ICU
• Circular setup with a central hub
• 23 beds with semi-private rooms

You will be responsible for direct patient care, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team. The unit layouts and proximity to the ICU create opportunities to work with complex patient populations and collaborate with critical care staff.

Night shift hours offer a different pace and dynamic on the units. Hours per week may be 36 or 48, depending on staffing needs and your availability. As a travel RN, you will bring your own clinical judgment and adaptability to both unit environments.
