PCU Nurse Job in Cleveland, OH

Cleveland Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for a 90-day travel assignment in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will care for patients with advanced cardiac conditions requiring specialized monitoring and intervention.

• Provide specialized cardiac care for patients with advanced heart failure and pulmonary hypertension
• Care for patients with complex cardiac conditions including electrolyte-related dysrhythmias and tachy-brady syndromes
• Manage patients awaiting heart transplantation
• Monitor and care for patients with implantable cardiac devices such as pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), and ventricular assist devices (VADs)
• Provide pre- and post-procedural care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology studies, and ablation procedures
• Administer and monitor chemical cardioversion with anti-dysrhythmic therapy such as Tikosyn
