PCU RN Job in Cleveland, OH

Join Cleveland Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will deliver intermediate-level nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care settings, supporting their recovery and preparation for discharge.

• Cardiac Surgery Patients: Provide post-operative nursing care for patients recovering from CABG, valve surgery, and heart transplant procedures.
• Thoracic Surgery Patients: Monitor and support patients following lung surgery, including wedge resection, lobectomy, and double lung transplant procedures.
• Specialized Services: Care for patients from esophagectomy, bronchial valve, EP lab, Cath lab, and general cardiology services.
• Discharge Planning: Assist patients with recovery milestones and discharge planning following major cardiac and thoracic procedures.
• Transition Support: Help patients move successfully from intensive care to step-down levels of care as they progress toward home discharge.

• Schedule: 3x12 hour night shifts per week
• Duration: 90 days
