MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Must have active ARRT(MRI) and BLS certifications
• Must have active SCQRSA license prior to start
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Proficient in adult acute care and outpatient settings with competency across all age groups including neonates through older adults
• Perform imaging of chest, abdomen, pelvis, head (with and without contrast), musculoskeletal trauma, and spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
• Perform contrast media preparation and administration and start peripheral IVs
• Follow isolation precautions and maintain competency with GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, and PACS equipment
• GE or Siemens equipment experience required
• Floating to other units and campuses required based on census and only to units for which competency has been demonstrated
• All time-off requests must be submitted at time of placement for facility approval
• Facility reserves the right to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
