Telemetry RN Job in Corpus Christi, TX

Doctors Regional Medical Center is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Corpus Christi, TX. You will work a 3x12 day shift (7 AM–7 PM) on a 22-bed telemetry unit caring for 4–6 patients with a maximum ratio of 6:1.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care including IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, central line maintenance, and medication administration
• Perform continuous bladder irrigation and nasogastric tube (NGT) insertion and maintenance
• Document all nursing activities in the Meditech EMR system
• Communicate effectively with physicians, team members, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Float to med/surg units as needed to support facility operations
• Maintain a patient-centered, team-focused approach to care

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 1+ year of acute medical/surgical nursing experience within the last year
• Proficiency with standard nursing equipment and EHR systems

Preferred Experience:

• Neurological patient care, including CVAs, TIAs, and altered mental status
• Background in neuro, neurosurgery, or orthopedic nursing

Unit Staffing:

Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 PCAs, 1 unit secretary, and 0–2 sitters. Night shift includes 4 RNs, 1–2 PCAs, and 0–2 sitters.

• Duration: 13 weeks (91 days)
• Start date: October 12, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,674
