Job Details:

• Work 9-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, with shift times of 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Schedule includes 1 weekend per month (Friday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM)
• 1-2 call shifts per week based on need (end of shift until 7:00 AM the next day)
• Call response time of 15 minutes required
• Team/self-scheduling available
• Work in a 6 OR suite facility plus 1 GI suite
• Handle an average of 6-10 cases per day, with potential for up to 20 cases
• Common cases include adult, pediatric, geriatric, and obstetric procedures including total joints, ORIF, arthroscopy, cesarean sections, LAVH, D&C, diagnostic lap, lap appy, lap chole, ex lap, and endoscopy
• C-arm and Mako robot experience beneficial
• RNs are not required to scrub; OR techs are available on site
• Charting performed in MEDITECH EMR system
• Occasional floating to other departments to assist with call lights and 1-on-1s; no patient loads assigned during float
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• 1 week of unit/department-specific orientation provided
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required with experience in Ortho, GYN, and General surgery
• Previous travel experience in an OR unit required
• BSN not required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS - all certifications must be current at time of submission
• Fit testing required; clinicians with facial hair must pass either the primary or secondary fit test (3M Aura 1860 sm or reg/3M 1870+)
