X-Ray Technician

Opportunity:

Rad Tech - Radiology X-Ray

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM
• Schedule follows a 7 days on, 7 days off rotation Thursday through Wednesday
• One week will consist of 36 hours and the following week will consist of 48 hours
• Call requirement includes 2 day shifts per month starting at 6:30 AM and running through 7:00 AM the following day with a 30-minute response time
• Weekend and holiday shifts required when they fall on a scheduled shift
• Float between Bryan and College Station campus as needed (approximately 16 minutes apart)
• Perform X-ray only duties including fluoroscopy and surgery cases in an acute care setting
• Department averages 123 exams per day across 4 rooms, 5 C-arms, and 2 fluoroscopy surgical suites
• Work with GE, Siemens, and Dornier equipment for X-ray and fluoroscopy, and GE, Siemens, and Philips C-arms
• Use Meditech EMR and Synapse PACS charting systems
• Rarely required to start IVs
• Must wear black scrubs (not provided)
• On-the-job orientation provided
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), and Texas Department of Health (TDH) licensure
• Must be a motivated individual
