Job Details:

• First time travelers accepted
• On-call requirement every 3rd or 4th weekend starting Friday at 5:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
• Call requirement includes 1-2 weeknight and 1-2 weekend Friday through Monday shifts per month
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be proficient in both peripheral vascular IR and neuro vascular IR
• Technologist must be able to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases
• Department consists of 4 IR rooms including 2 single plane and 2 biplane Siemens C-arms
• Two IR techs are assigned to each room - one tech circulates and the other scrubs
• Level 1 trauma, Level 1 PE, Level 1 stroke center
• Procedures include angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, PE thrombectomy, intracranial thrombectomy, stent placements, and central line insertions
• Skilled in stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, peripherals, drainages, upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies
• Required equipment experience: Siemens single plane (Pheno and Zeego) and GE Elite portable C-arm
• Preferred equipment experience: IVUS, Penumbra, MedRad Power Injector, Shockwave, AngioJet, CSI Diamondback, Ultrasound, and Philips Laser
• Charting system: Cerner (required)
• Patients served are adults
• Floating is required - candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, Indiana license
• Trauma Level I experience required
