ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend coverage required every 3rd weekend
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Floating required as needed, including rotation to Emergency Transitional Care Unit (ETCU)
• No on-call requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required - first time travelers not accepted
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Blocked schedules not approved
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (preferred), NIHSS (preferred)
• Epic charting system experience heavily preferred
• AHA or ARC certifications only accepted
• Pennsylvania RN license required - no license hits accepted
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required skills include triage, IV vasopressors, arterial line management, chest tube management, intubation, procedural sedation, blood product administration, cardiac rhythm interpretation and management, 12-lead EKG/ECG, and management of trauma, behavioral health, and neurological conditions
• Tobacco and fragrance free facility
