Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Provide direct, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill adult patients in an ICU setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for critically ill patients
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, laboratory results, and other diagnostic data
• Manage ventilated patients, invasive lines, vasoactive medications, and other critical-care therapies
• Administer medications, blood products, IV fluids, and treatments according to physician orders and hospital policy
• Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions promptly
• Respond to rapid-response and emergency situations as assigned
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and care plans using electronic medical records
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge needs
• Communicate effectively during handoff reports and interdisciplinary rounds
• Follow infection-prevention, medication-safety, patient-identification, and regulatory standards
• Float to comparable units when needed based on competency and facility policy
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU or critical-care nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice or active multistate compact privilege required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Demonstrated experience caring for ventilated patients and managing critical-care medications required
• Experience with electronic medical records and computerized documentation required
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, assist with lifting and repositioning patients, and perform physical duties required in a critical-care environment
