ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Full-time day shift position working 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Every other weekend requirement
• No call requirements, though may occasionally be offered call
• Float requirements to Med Surg/Telemetry with a 5:1 patient ratio
• ICU patient ratio of 1:2
• Treats patients 18 years and older
• 3-5 years of critical care experience preferred
• Must have ICU/critical care experience including assistance with intubation and vent management, care coordination, and management of critically ill/unstable patients
• Occasional off-hours recovery (PACU care) required
• PACU experience preferred but not required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• CCRN preferred but not required
• Required education modules: BLS, ACLS, vent management, central line care, medication administration, and policies and procedures
• Equipment used includes: Hemodynamic Monitoring - Philips (Cardiac, respiratory, temp, ETCO2), Glucometer, Plum Pumps 360, PCA/Epidural (Sapphire pumps), Kangaroo pumps, and Telemetry
• EMR system: EPIC
• Scrubs required; hoodies and graphic wear are not acceptable attire
