ICU RN Job in Rockport, ME

Pen Bay Medical Center is seeking an RN for an intensive care unit position in Rockport, ME. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The assignment runs for 91 days, starting November 1, 2026.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 8-bed ICU unit
• Manage patient ratios of 1:2–3
• Care for ICU and step-down patients
• Float to medical/surgical unit (MSU) or other units as needed
• Participate in on-call requirements based on unit needs
• Work every other weekend

Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU or step-down experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• PALS certification preferred
• Pediatrics experience preferred but not required

Facility Details

• 8-bed unit with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Dress code: solid-colored scrubs, any color (no prints)

Weekly pay is $2,463. This is a contract position offering the opportunity to work in a structured ICU environment with defined patient populations and established protocols.
