SLP Therapy Job in Bowling Green, Kentucky

You will work as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an acute care hospital setting, providing direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. This is a 91-day travel assignment at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4x8 Days (32 hours per week)
• Weekly pay: $2,178
• Start date: August 31, 2026
• Staffing ratio: 1:1 with average daily census of 70 patients
• Expected patient visits: Approximately 10 per day

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of SLP experience (first-time travelers accepted with 3+ years of field experience)
• BLS certification
• CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
• Kentucky SLP license

Preferred Qualifications

• FEES and Vital Stim certifications
• Meditech EMR experience

Core Clinical Responsibilities

Your daily work includes bedside swallow evaluations, modified barium swallow studies, dysphagia management, dysarthria treatment, CVA and TBI patient care, oral motor therapy, tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patient care, Passy Muir Valve use, patient and family education, and thickening agent application.

Support and Resources

You will have access to an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.
