Physical Therapist

Opportunity:

PT - Physical Therapist Outpatient

Job Details:

• Monday through Thursday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Primarily hospital outpatient setting with possibility of floating to inpatient if needed
• Evaluate patients for physical therapy and design appropriate prescription plans with realistic, measurable, and functional goals
• Implement plans of care in a courteous and timely manner
• Communicate and document patient care activities, needs, and assessments
• Supervise LPTAs and Physical Therapy Technicians
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and external agencies
• Reevaluate patients on a regular basis to ensure effective care and make adjustments as necessary
• Provide teaching and guidance to patients, significant others, and staff members
• Maintain equipment and supplies and organize work area
• Treat patients across all age groups including pediatric (1-12 years), adolescent (13-18 years), adult (19-65 years), and geriatric (65+ years)
• Required certifications: BLS and Alabama PT License
