Opportunity:

PT - Outpatient

Job Details:

• Work in a small rural outpatient clinic with primarily orthopedic cases and a large variety of diagnoses
• Position may be fully outpatient or a combination of outpatient and inpatient
• No weekend shifts required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis
• Plan and provide individualized patient care to meet holistic and age-specific needs
• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patients and staff
• Apply standard work protocols for central lines, foley catheters, pressure ulcers, restraints, and fall risk patients
• Conduct hourly rounds using service excellence standards
• Contribute to department efficiency, including charge responsibilities when assigned
• Precept novice employees and support department growth through evidence-based practice initiatives
• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• AHA BLS certification required
