Physical Therapist Job in Manning, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 90-day travel assignment in Manning, SC, providing home health services across Clarendon, Sumter, Lee, Darlington, and Florence counties.

Role Overview

You will deliver physical therapy services in patients' homes according to physician orders, managing your own schedule while maintaining independence and productivity. You'll interact daily with patients, families, agency staff, and physicians to coordinate care and ensure positive outcomes.

Compensation and Requirements

You will be compensated on a unit-based pay structure with no overtime or hourly compensation. Orientation pay is limited to no more than 2 weeks, equivalent to 30 units. Mileage is reimbursed at $0.70 per mile starting from the closest branch location or first patient's home.

You must complete at least 20 units of in-home patient care each week. Unit values include routine PT visits (1 unit), evaluations (1.5 units), Start of Care (3 units), reassessments (1.5 units), OASIS discharges (1.5 units), and supervisory or recertification visits (1–2 units each).

Key Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist credential
• Knowledge of state therapy laws and Home Health Agency Conditions of Participation
• Familiarity with community resources and principles of growth and development across the life span
• Ability to assess and interpret patient data relative to age-specific needs
• Capacity for moderate to strenuous physical activity: walking, standing, bending, lifting objects up to 50 pounds, and full range of motion during patient care
• Good manual dexterity, hearing, and eyesight
• Proficiency with standard office equipment

Scheduling

Limited time off is available and cannot extend more than 2 days at a time. You will manage your caseload independently while coordinating with the agency team.
