Cath Lab Technologist Job in Portland, OR

Legacy Emanuel Medical Center is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. You will work 4x10 day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with on-call requirements of approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3–4 weeks.

Role and Responsibilities

You will provide scrub support as first assistant to the operator in a high-acuity cardiac intervention environment. The facility operates 7 rooms equipped with Philips Azurion systems and performs complex diagnostic and interventional procedures. Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting with percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and left and right heart catheterization
• Managing balloon and stent preparation and deployment
• Supporting complex cardiac interventions using OCT, IVUS, Rotoblator, Shockwave, and drug-coated balloon equipment
• Assisting with Impella CP, RP, 5.5, and IABP insertion
• Supporting pulmonary artery line insertion and pericardiocentesis procedures
• Recognizing and responding to life-threatening arrhythmias
• Charting in Epic

Requirements

You must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications, ARRT-R (radiology), and OBMI (Oregon state license). A minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience is required, with proven scrub experience as first assistant. You will serve adult and geriatric patient populations.

Assignment Details

This is a 13-week assignment beginning November 30, 2026. You will be expected to float within the site and across the system as requested. Mandatory cancellations for low census may occur with at least 1.5 hours notice. Personnel may be mandatorily cancelled one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty. Scrubs are provided, and free parking is available in any unrestricted space.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $3,410.
