About this role
You'll work as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at MUSC Health Charleston, performing a full range of nuclear medicine procedures in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position offers stable, predictable scheduling with no on-call requirements and no floating between units.
Schedule & Logistics
- 5x8-hour day shifts with varying start times between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM
- No holiday shifts required
- No on-call or floating responsibilities
- Occasional Saturday PET/CT scans may be required (up to twice monthly) due to equipment maintenance or scheduling needs
- Guaranteed hours with facility permitted to call off one shift per two weeks
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform PET/CT scans, bone scans, cardiac imaging, renal scans, HIDA scans, gastric emptying studies, ventilation/perfusion scans, and related procedures
- Work with patients across all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Operate Siemens equipment and scanners
- Use Epic charting system for documentation
Requirements
- Current BLS certification
- NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certification
- NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT) certification
- SCRQSA state license in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography
- Minimum one year nuclear medicine experience; first-time travelers welcome
- Siemens equipment experience required
- Level 1 and Level 2 trauma experience preferred
- Epic proficiency preferred

- Dress code: Teal top and black pants
- Radiation badge required and supplied by agency
- Assignment duration: 91 days beginning August 31, 2026
- Weekly pay: $2,930
