CT Technologist Job in Des Moines, IA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at UnityPoint – Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. You will work a 3x12 rotating schedule with weekly pay of $2,724.

Role Overview

You will primarily perform CT imaging with occasional general radiography depending on your assigned shift and campus. Your responsibilities include operating Siemens CT, GE CT, Siemens fixed radiographic equipment, and Carestream portable systems. You will administer power injection contrast injections and work with patients of all age groups.

Schedule & Environment

• Schedule established in 4-week increments, sometimes longer
• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend requirements
• Required to work 1–2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless unit is closed
• Float assignment across Iowa Lutheran, Methodist West, and Iowa Methodist Medical Center (home base)
• Charcoal gray scrub color

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of CT experience (hospital/medical center experience prioritized)
• Minimum 12 months of X-ray experience
• Level II trauma experience required; recent Level I trauma experience highly preferred
• EPIC experience required
• Experience with contrast and power injection contrast injectors
• Active Iowa radiology license highly preferred (licensing candidates considered with 1–3 week turnaround)
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Current ARRT (CT) certification
• CT-specific skills checklist completion required
• Valid driver's license required

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent stroke imaging experience
• Professional reference from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within 24 months
