Job Details:

• 8-hour shifts per week with a 6:30 AM start time, Monday through Friday
• Call required with a 6-tier call system for nights and weekends
• Cover cardiac cases, lung transplants, and ECMO coverage during the day, evenings, and weekends
• Cover any type of cardiac case regardless of complexity including CABG, valves, adult congenital, dissections, complex aortic, and minimally invasive procedures
• Cover cardiac, thoracic, and liver transplants
• Provide ECMO in-house coverage 24/7 responding to all cannulations, decannulations, circuit manipulations, CT transport, and physical therapy sessions
• Cover TAVRs and LLE in CL/EP as well as mechanical thrombectomies
• Standby coverage for sporadic combo cases with vascular
• Cover HIPEC cases
• Conduct ECMO transports from outside hospitals, NRP, liver transplants, lung transplants, heart transplants, and HiPEC cases
• Must be able to operate POC devices
• Minimum of 5 years of experience required with at least 1 year of recent experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility
• Prior travel experience preferred but not required
• High school diploma or college degree required for CAPS certification eligibility
• Required certifications: ABCP - American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion Certification, Tennessee Clinical Perfusionist License, and BLS
• No float required
