ICU RN Job in Fort Smith, AR

Mercy Hospital Fort Smith is seeking an RN for a travel position in the ICU. You'll work night shifts in a 38-bed mixed medical-surgical unit that also serves neuro surgery and cardiovascular surgery patients.

• Shift Details: 3x12 nights with 36 guaranteed weekly hours. Every other weekend required; no on-call.
• Responsibilities: You'll care for 2–3 patients per assignment, with experience managing ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring essential. CRRT experience is preferred. Float assignments to Med-Surg and Step-Down units are part of the role.
• Requirements: Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience. Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required. You must pass a medication and math competency test with a score of 90% or higher before administering medications.
• Preferred Qualifications: CCRN or SCRN certification, open heart recovery experience, and CRRT expertise.
• Systems & Compliance: EMR system is EPIC. Dress code requires black scrubs; hoodies are not acceptable.

Assignment Details: 91-day contract beginning October 12, 2026. Weekly pay is $1,948.
