Medical ICU RN Job in Fort Smith, AR

Mercy Hospital Fort Smith is seeking an RN for a night shift position in their Medical ICU. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026.

Position Details

• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend hours required
• No on-call requirements
• 32-bed Medical ICU unit with patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1
• Float responsibilities may include stepdown and med/surg units
• EMR system: EPIC

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $1,971

Requirements and Qualifications

• Current Arkansas licensure
• Minimum 2+ years of critical care experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CCRN certification preferred
• Must pass medication and math competency test with a score of 90% or higher before assuming medication administration responsibilities
• Competency test covers knowledge of drug actions, side effects, correct dosages, and IV problems

Workplace Standards

• Black scrubs required
• No open toe shoes permitted
