Job Details:

• 8-hour variable shifts with a mix of 0700-1530, 0900-1730, and 1100-1930
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Holiday rotation every other holiday; unit may be closed during holidays
• May be required to float to other central locations if needed
• On-call requirements include 6-8 weeknight call shifts and 1-2 weekend call shifts during the contract; 30-minute response time required - must be ready and in the OR within 30 minutes
• Must have personal vehicle - cannot rely on rideshare services due to on-call responsibilities
• Weekend shifts for call only
• Work in a 21-OR facility handling 40-60 cases per day with an average of 45 cases
• Required skills include Ortho, Neuro (cranis), and Spine
• Bonus skills include General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, and GI
• Circulating required; scrub experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must be willing to complete downtime tasks as needed
• Candidate must be a hard worker, resilient, manage change well, and be social
• Scrub colors: any color
• Minimum 5+ years of OR experience with at least 1 travel assignment required
• Experience in a larger facility with comparable ORs of 20 required
• Trauma II experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and Wisconsin RN License
