Occupational Therapist Job in Springfield, OH

You will work as an Occupational Therapist in home health care, serving patients across Clark, Edgar, Effingham, Champaign, and Madison County. This is a full-time position with Community Mercy Home Care in Springfield, Ohio.

Role and Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (8-hour day shifts)
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• You manage your own schedule and may adjust visit times as needed

Clinical Responsibilities

• Treat approximately 8 patients per day in their homes
• Conduct 3–4 evaluations daily, with a minimum productivity expectation of 6.5 points per hour
• Focus on post-acute home care cases
• Provide supervision to one COTA on staff
• Complete charting using the facility's computerized system

Requirements

• Active Ohio OT license (required before start date)
• Home Health experience required
• Home Care Home Base experience required
• BLS certification (AHA/CPR) required

Work Environment

• Scrub color or business casual attire
• Home-based patient visits
