Wound Care RN Job in Charleston, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse with wound care expertise for a 91-day travel assignment at MUSC Health Charleston. You will work 5x8 day shifts (7:30 AM to 4:00 PM) with no weekend or on-call requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

• Deliver wound and ostomy care across all age groups—neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Manage a daily census of approximately 150 patients with roughly 8 visits per day
• Treat conditions including adult and pediatric wound care, advanced wound care with negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT), fistula management, traumatic wounds, and ostomy care (colostomy, ileostomy, urostomy)
• Address mental health-related wound care needs
• Utilize the Epic charting system
• No floating within the facility required; floating to sister facilities on like units may occur

Requirements

• Current South Carolina RN license
• Minimum 2 years of WOCN RN experience
• WOCN certification for wound and ostomy care (continence certification not required)
• BLS certification
• Epic charting system experience
• Pediatric experience highly preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred

Assignment Details

• Duration: 91 days, starting August 3, 2026
• Shift type: Block scheduling
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Parking pass available for a one-time $20 payment (nights and weekends only)
• Weekly pay: $2,710
