Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience preferred but not required for highly experienced technicians
• At least 6 weekend shifts required per schedule period
• Self-scheduling type
• 24 orientation hours
• One pre-approved time off allowed
• Patients include neonates and adults
• Daily census of 11 patients across 12 rooms and 15 beds
• Required certifications: BLS; CST highly preferred
• Preferred charting system experience: Epic
• Required skills include: Abdominal hysterectomy, Aseptic Technique, Bilateral tubal ligation, C-sections, Case Cart, Cell saver, Cervical Cerclage, Crash Cart, Dilation & Curettage, High level disinfectant (HLD), Isolation Precautions/PPE, Knowledge of decontamination and sterilization processes, Preparation of hard instrument containers, Sets/trays assembly, Sharps Safety, Vaginal Delivery, and Vaginal Hysterectomy
• Special procedures include: Repairs with C/S, Cesarean Sections, Cerclage Placement, D&C, Emergency Hysterectomy, Hemorrhage, and Salpingectomy
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Unit Secretary
