Polysomnographer Job in Pittsburgh, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Polysomnographer for a 90-day travel assignment at Southwest — UPMC Presbyterian/Montefiore in Pittsburgh, PA. You will work a 3x12 day schedule, earning $2,321 weekly.

Your Responsibilities:

• Review patient charts, testing orders, and verify proper patient identification prior to sleep studies
• Apply electrodes and sensors according to AASM recommendations and explain testing procedures clearly to patients
• Perform in-center and out-of-center sleep study acquisition with attention to quality patient care
• Analyze and score sleep studies, maintaining monthly AASM ISR competency requirements
• Clean and maintain equipment and patient rooms, perform routine equipment maintenance, and manage lab inventory and supplies

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of polysomnography experience
• Graduate of a polysomnography education program accredited by CAAHEP, CoARC, or a STAR designated program through BRPT
• Current sleep credential from BRPT, NBRC, or ABSM
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73 certifications
