Cath Lab Technologist Job in Chesapeake, VA

Chesapeake Regional Medical Center is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 2, 2026. You will perform minimally invasive cardiac procedures in a full-service Cardiac Catheterization Lab while supporting the Electrophysiology (EP) program and related cardiovascular departments.

Schedule & Hours

• 5x8 and 4x10 shifts with varying times between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• 40 hours per week, with procedural volume potentially extending some shifts beyond 8 hours
• Overtime should be expected
• Rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call required; call averages approximately 12 days per month
• Holiday time off will not be approved; holiday call coverage is expected

Compensation & Location

• Weekly pay: $2,995.20
• Chesapeake, Virginia

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program leading toward Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist registry
• Current credential required: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist), RCVT (Registered Cardiovascular Technologist), or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• EKG testing required; must score 80% or higher
• Virginia license or compact license must be in hand at time of application
• ARRT candidates will not be considered

You will be assigned to support the Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology (EP), and Cath Holding areas as needed. This is a clinical role requiring direct patient care and procedural support in a busy cardiovascular program.
