Respiratory Therapist Job in Aurora, CO

You will work as a Respiratory Therapist on a travel assignment at HCA HealthONE Aurora, a 350-bed acute care facility. This is a 12-week position beginning September 7, 2026.

Schedule and Environment

• 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Respiratory Therapy unit with a charge RRT and 5 staff members per shift
• Variable patient ratios depending on acuity and census

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform ventilator management and airway management procedures
• Operate Hamilton G5/C1/T1, V60, and Vyair Avea ventilators
• Document and coordinate care using the Meditech EMR system
• Contribute to a collaborative, patient-focused care environment

Requirements

• Current RRT credential with minimum 6 months acute care hospital experience
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and CRT or NBRC
• Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred
• PEDS, NICU, or PICU experience is preferred but not required

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $1,417
