Respiratory Therapist Job in Craig, CO

Memorial Regional Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a day shift position in Craig, Colorado. This 91-day travel assignment begins October 12, 2026, and offers weekly pay of $2,476.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide safe and competent respiratory care under physician direction across multiple specialty areas. Your responsibilities include:

• Administer respiratory care in Emergency, Neonatal, Pediatric, Geriatric, and Critical Care settings
• Monitor mechanical ventilation and administer medications as ordered
• Perform patient assessments and hemodynamic monitoring
• Manage airways, including bag/mask ventilation and assisting with intubation
• Perform arterial blood gas draws and suction techniques
• Initiate, maintain, and monitor ventilator patients
• Interpret flow volumes and pressure-volume curves for clinical changes
• Maintain accurate documentation of all respiratory care procedures
• Verify physician orders and provide accurate patient reports
• Attend department in-services, meetings, rounds, and mandatory hospital meetings

Requirements: You must hold a High School Diploma or equivalent and be a graduate of a COARC-approved Respiratory Care Program with CRT credential. A minimum of one year of respiratory care experience in a hospital setting is required. Current BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire; NRP certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire. You must pass a background check, drug screen, and breath alcohol test.

Preferred qualifications: Experience with pulmonary diagnostics and cardiac diagnostics (EKG, Holter monitor, event monitor, cardiac stress testing) is preferred.

You will demonstrate excellent working knowledge of respiratory care instruments and equipment, assist in orientation and training of new employees and students, and complete required continuous training and education. Professional appearance and adherence to facility dress code are expected, along with full compliance with personal protective equipment requirements.
