Respiratory Therapist Job in Denver, CO

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment at HCA HealthONE Swedish in Denver, Colorado. This is a 91-day position in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) respiratory therapy department, working night shifts from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM on a 3x12 schedule.

Role Overview

You will provide respiratory care to neonatal patients in a specialized NICU setting. The unit operates with one charge respiratory therapist and 8–10 clinical respiratory therapists per night shift, maintaining a patient ratio of 10:1. Your responsibilities will include performing breathing treatments, conducting ventilator assessments, and managing patient care using established protocols.

Equipment & Systems

You will work with Hamilton G5 and C1 ventilators and use the Meditech EMR system for documentation and patient information management.

Requirements

• Current Allied Health Professional credential as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RRT hospital experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• NICU or pediatrics experience
• Level 1 Trauma experience

Assignment Details

Start date: September 7, 2026. Weekly pay: $1,749. This is a critical care position suited for respiratory therapists who are energized by high-acuity neonatal care and demonstrate strong clinical focus.
