Respiratory Therapist Job in Glenwood Springs, CO

Valley View Hospital is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 13, 2026. You will work 3x12-hour rotating shifts, including day and night rotations with call and weekend requirements.

Your Role:

• Deliver respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients across all ages and acuity levels, including Level 2 NICU
• Demonstrate advanced critical care and ventilator management skills
• Provide neonatal and pediatric respiratory support in a specialized care environment

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of respiratory therapy experience
• NBRC RRT certification required (CRT credentials will not be considered)
• Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program
• Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA)
• Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (AAP)
• Documented neonatal and pediatric experience, including Level 2 NICU
• Experienced travelers only—first-time travel assignments will not be considered
• Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility

Compensation:

Weekly pay is $2,622 for a 36-hour work week on a rotating day/night schedule.
