Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Glens Falls, NY

Join Glens Falls Hospital as a Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Catheterization Lab. You will provide direct patient care in a dynamic environment serving both acute inpatient and elective outpatient populations undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Core Responsibilities:

• Position and immobilize patients on the examining table following established protocols
• Perform continuous hemodynamic assessment and monitoring
• Administer conscious sedation and manage patient recovery to Phase I
• Prepare, mix, and maintain IV and IC infusions and bolus medications
• Interpret EKG and hemodynamic pressure tracings
• Alert the physician to any changes in patient response
• Assist the physician with interventional procedures
• Respond to emergency procedures during off-hours, weekends, and holidays as part of on-call rotation (1–2 nights per week as needed)
• Rotate weekend shifts every 4 weeks

Required Qualifications:

• Current New York nursing license (RN)
• Minimum 2 years of current Cath Lab experience
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedure experience
• Documented catheterization and peripheral vascular experience
• STEMI and STEMI call experience
• Proficiency with EKG interpretation and hemodynamic pressure tracings
• Conscious sedation and IV therapy experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Skills checklist current within 1 year
• One supervisory reference from employment within the past 2 years

Preferred Qualifications:

• Moderate sedation certification
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience
• Epic system experience

• Personal scrubs (any solid color; no designs, cartoons, or hoodies)
• Own vehicle for commute
• Perfect attendance and call-out record required
• Requested time off must be noted and verified at time of upload; post-upload RTO requests will not be approved (maximum 5 days RTO permitted)

Position Details: 10-hour shifts, 91-day contract beginning October 29, 2026. $2,173 weekly pay.
