Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for its Cardiac Cath Lab. You will work 3x12-hour shifts (or 4x10-hour options available) with shift times between 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Weekend, holiday, and on-call availability is required.

In this role, you will provide care across 4 Cath Labs and 3 EP Labs, supporting both inpatient and outpatient procedural settings. Your responsibilities include pre- and post-procedural care in holding areas and direct support for mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention in cardiac patients. You will care for both adult and pediatric patients across a wide range of conditions.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Critical care or cardiac nursing background
• Proficiency with TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman procedures
• Right and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, and Vascular Interventions
• RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, and FlowTriever experience
• Mechanical Circulatory Support including ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD
• Structural Heart procedures: TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, and ASA
• Moderate sedation training
• Dysrhythmia and telemetry experience
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
• Valid New York RN license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cardiovascular certification or RCES
• Device and ablation procedures and equipment familiarity
• EP Lab experience

This 89-week assignment begins December 7, 2026. Weekly pay is $3,346.20. You will be part of a Level 4 facility delivering advanced cardiac interventional care.
