PICU Registered Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

Opportunity:

RN - PICU

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of pediatric ICU or pediatric CICU experience required
• Level I trauma facility experience required
• Active Georgia or compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of submittal
• Required certifications: BLS and PALS (AHA only)
• BSN preferred but not required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 1:2 patient ratios
• Every weekend requirement
• Must be available to work either the Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday rotation based on staffing needs
• Float between ICUs at two campuses, including NICU (Level IV), TICU, PICU, and CICU
• May be asked to float to general care areas if there is no ICU need
• Experience with Servo ventilators required, as they are used across all ICUs
• Respiratory care therapists are utilized in each ICU
• Experience with typical ICU drips, medications, and vasopressors required
• Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, and pediatrics
• Med pass/fail test will be administered; RN will be canceled if second test is not passed
