PICU Registered Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

Opportunity:

RN - PICU

Job Details:

• Minimum 3 years of pediatric ICU or pediatric CICU experience required
• Level I trauma facility experience required
• Active Georgia or compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of submittal
• Required certifications: BLS and PALS (AHA only)
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• BSN preferred but not required
• Travel experience required
• 1:2 patient ratios
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to work either the Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday rotation based on staffing needs
• Float between ICUs at two campuses, with experience required in NICU (Level IV), TICU, PICU, and CICU
• If no ICU need, may be asked to float to general care areas
• Work with Servo ventilators used across all ICUs
• Respiratory Respiratory Therapists utilized in each ICU
• Experience with typical ICU drips, medications, and vasopressors required
• Care for patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatrics
• Med pass/fail test administered upon start; RN will be canceled if second test is not passed
