Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Work in a freestanding emergency department seeing patients from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Patient diagnoses include lacerations needing repair, abdominal pain, pediatric complaints, mental health evaluations, stroke alerts, and cardiac arrest
• Patient ratio of 1:2-3 depending on shift; 11 beds with an average daily census of 36 patients
• Every other weekend required unless otherwise specified
• Floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed, possibly to sister campus
• No on-call requirements
• Holiday coverage expected based on number of major holidays falling within assignment period
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, EBRR during NEO week
• Unit systems used: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
• Required scrub color: Navy Blue
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required
