ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed)
• Floating required to all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
• Must wear Navy scrubs
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; 4-5 years preferred
• Travel experience required
• Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex required
• Heart experience highly preferred
• EMR experience with EPIC required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Active NY RN license required
• Work in a 42-bed ICU unit (East 20, West 22) including Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Surg/Trauma areas
• Common patient diagnoses include strokes, sepsis, AMS, neuro intervention, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, cardiogenic shock, CV surgery, AAA, and trauma
• Specialty equipment used includes IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Arctic Sun)
