CNA Job in Silverdale, WA

St Michael Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its 38-bed Labor & Delivery unit in Silverdale, WA. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• 3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend requirement
• No holiday requirement
• No on-call or standby shifts
• No floating to other units

Your Responsibilities

You will support the care of pregnant and postpartum patients by:

• Answering unit phones and responding to call lights
• Preparing charts and documentation
• Taking maternal vital signs
• Assisting postpartum mothers with ambulation and activities of daily living
• Performing all duties within CNA scope of practice

What You Bring

• Current CNA certification (Washington state)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Proficiency in basic vital signs assessment
• Competency in all CNA-level clinical skills

Orientation & Support

Unit orientation consists of two 12-hour shifts to familiarize you with Labor & Delivery workflows, EPIC charting system, and unit-specific protocols. Hospital-provided scrubs are included.

This role offers predictable scheduling with no floating, on-call, or holiday obligations—ideal for focused clinical experience in maternal care.
