Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Lansing, MI

McLaren Greater Lansing is seeking an experienced RN for our Cardiac Cath Lab. This is a temporary travel position on day shift, offering you the opportunity to advance your cardiac nursing expertise in a dynamic clinical environment.

Position Details

• Shift: 4x10 days per week
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: December 7, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $3,110.40

What You'll Bring

• Previous Cath Lab experience required
• Strong cardiac proficiency
• Pre- and post-care holding experience
• STEMI experience
• Active Michigan nursing license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Clinical Skills and Experience

You will work with a full range of cardiac interventional procedures, including heart catheterizations, coronary and peripheral angioplasties and stents, lytics, embolizations, Impella patient management, and structural heart repairs (ASD and VSD). Your responsibilities also include TEEs, cardioversions, tilt table testing, pacemaker and ICD placements, EP studies, and complex ablations—particularly atrial fibrillation cases. You'll manage thoracenteses, paracenteses, and tunneled catheter placements with confidence and precision.

On-Call Requirements

The role includes one on-call day per week and one weekend per month. Weekend shifts are only required when on-call and called in.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel healthcare experience
• Familiarity with Phillips and Cerner systems
